You can't keep up with Haiti. Impossible. Everything moves too fast. Even the good things, the enjoyable ones. We don't even take the time to enjoy what's good about Haiti. The bad news overshadowed the good ones. The news about Haiti moves with such a speed that we don't take time to enjoy the little but priceless moments.
I've said it before: it's impossible not to fall in love with Haiti when you travel there. I had the privilege of doing just that. And guess what? I fell in love and traveling in Haiti became a passion. I also have a passion for filmmaking and storytelling. And the only way I've found to combine my passion for Haiti and filmmaking is to create this: Haiti in Slow Motion. Yep, you get it right: Haiti + a filmmaking technique.
This is the simplest idea on earth: enjoy the little moments in Haiti in Slow Motion.
Haiti is a country of contrast where the good and the bad coexist. It's living hell in paradise. Haiti In Slow Motion aims to showcase the beauty, the diversity and the untold stories of Haiti through short, slow-motion videos. This project seeks to engage a global audience, sparking curiosity and inviting them to explore Haiti beyond the surface-level narratives.
